DESCRIPTION:On Sunday November 3rd at 6:30pm\, we have invited Dr. Bryan Smith to share on the topic: “How Do We Keep from Losing Our Kids?” Dr. Smith is a keynote speaker affiliated with BJU Press\, one of our textbook publishers. His work revolves around equipping both educators and families in the sphere of Biblical Worldview\, and will share some insights as well as inspiration toward this most important endeavor. Description of the session below: \n“You’ve seen the polls\, and you’ve heard the stories. Many of our young people leave the Christian faith not long after they graduate from Christian schools. These departures often seem like sudden\, rash decisions. But they rarely are. Behind them is usually a long process of wrong thinking. Confronting that process and disrupting it are some of the most important things we can do as Christian educators. In this session we will consider how we can be more effective at passing on our faith to the next generation.”
