Giving to CFS

It may surprise you that tuition alone does not sustain Christian Fellowship School. Like every independent school, our continued success depends on the charitable gifts that supplement tuition revenues, which alone do not cover the school’s operating expenses. We offer a variety of ways to support Christian education at CFS.

Our Annual Fund is used as a general operating fund to provide resources necessary to not only sustain our level of service and commitment to providing a quality Christ-based education, but also to increase our capacity to provide more classes, improve technology, and expand our school.

Our fundraising effort targets a number of key areas, with tuition assistance being one of the most important. Tuition assistance allows us to offer Christian education to a population as diverse as God’s kingdom is. We currently provide tuition assistance to over 25% of our students, offering a private, Christian education to as many families as we can reach in and around the Columbia area.

We also strive to enhance the benefits offered our faculty and staff to retain quality educators for our students. In recent years, money from the annual fund has improved our retirement benefits for faculty and staff.

Another key area for annual fund money is our technology and curriculum. Technology is ever changing, so this has become a constant line item on our budget to make sure we keep our teachers and classrooms current with the latest curriculum and technology that supports it.
