About CFS

Established in 1981, CFS provides a college preparatory, Christ-centered education with close to 500 students from Pre-K to 12th grade. CFS students represent over 15 church congregations in the Columbia area.

CFS teachers and programs are intentional in helping students grow and develop, not just academically, but also in character and spiritual life. To this end, the school’s instructional goals and extracurricular activities are designed to train students in three primary areas: Knowledge, Faith, and Character. All of this is done in a community of grace where students are known and loved.

CFS students are regularly recognized for their academic and athletic achievements. Over 90% of CFS graduates continue their education and have been accepted at over 90 different colleges and universities with many receiving outstanding scholarships.

Announcements

Join us for more information on an opportunity to transform the money you are already spending on taxes into scholarships for students in need through the MoScholars program. By redirecting up to 50% of your Missouri state tax liability, whether personal or business, you can support scholarships for CFS students. As an accredited private school, CFS is able to receive these scholarships as tuition, which helps offset the assistance we already provide to many families. The Herzog Foundation, a key partner in this effort, has generously supported CFS through major grants, quality trainings at no cost, and by facilitating this tax credit program. We are proud to be one of their largest participants in MoScholars, but we need more tax credits turned in to ensure all our students receive the funding they need.
To learn more, join us on October 10th at 6:00 PM in the cafeteria for a presentation by Mayela Esser from the Herzog Foundation. This will be a great opportunity to ask questions and invite others who may be interested. The event will also be recorded. The more we spread the word, the more students will benefit from a quality, Bible-based education here at CFS.
